As a society we are surrounded by gender norms such as "men must be the breadwinners," "women should be the main caretakers," "women must know how to cook" and so many more. This year we looked closely at the effect of gender stereotypes on mental health. We wanted to give a powerful message by literally and figuratively shattering these stereotypes through a powerful piece of art. We hope this art piece inspires conversations around challenging gender stereotypes and breaking them.
