We are currently facing unprecedented circumstances in light of COVID-19. The world of higher education is responding in a dynamic fashion, converting campus tours to virtual opportunities, participating in online college fairs, and re-evaluating admissions requirements. While this page is by no means comprehensive, it is designed to provide you with ongoing resources and information to help you navigate this process in light of dynamically changing times.

Virtual Tours and Fairs

In addition to there being significant restrictions on travel, most institutions have significantly limited in person tours, visits, and events. As a result, spend time on the Admissions pages of the schools you're researching. Universities and colleges are rising to the challenge of converting their tours to digital platforms. Spend some time getting to "virtually" know the schools on your list.

Each institution is handling admissions changes differently. Your best, most accurate, up to date resource will be to visit the individual school websites. Below are links to the COVID-19 resource pages set up by the admissions offices of in-state institutions. Be sure to call the college in advance to verify the date and time as some of these dates may change. Many schools request that you register before coming to an open house. See your school counselor for more information. Many schools besides those listed offer open houses. Call your prospective colleges and universities for their schedule. It is an excellent idea to include both open houses and college tours in your college exploration. The open house allows you to see many of the activities available on campus while the traditional college tour lets you experience the college in a more typical environment.
