Quizlet Study Sets

Quizlet Study Sets are the best tool available for learning and remembering the details you need to know to be successful in this class and on the STAAR test in May. However, to be effective, they need to be used properly.

Follow these steps:

1. Work through a set of cards in Flashcard mode with the cards in chronological order (this is the default).

2. Work through the same set of cards in Flashcard mode with the cards in random order (click the Shuffle button).

3. Work through the same set of cards in Learn mode until you have achieved 100% mastery.

NOTE: When working through the cards in Flashcard mode, you should read -- out loud -- what is on the front side of the card, predict -- out loud -- what is on the back side of the card, flip the card and read -- out loud -- what you see. Then, you should say -- out loud -- what was on the front side of the card, and then flip the card to confirm. When you can accurately say what is on the other side -- out loud -- back-and-forth a couple times, then you may move on to the next card.
