Distance-learning days count towards 187 required days of attendance. Days are fully-paid work days - schools will put out daily schedules with start-end times, lunch, PLCs, etc..
All classroom, special education, intervention, and special program teachers will support students with distance learning.
All normal-operating instructional requirements remain (lesson planning and submission, delivery, grading, recording, etc.).
Communication with families by email and Skyward is required. Teachers must be available for students and parents during student contact time as noted on the schedule provided by the campus.
Use of Google Classroom is strongly encouraged for Grades 3-5 and mandatory for all teachers in Grades 6-12.
Online weekly lessons, activities, and due dates must be posted by 8:30 a.m. on Mondays.
Teachers will grade distance learning lessons and provide feedback about the lessons to the students.
Emails from parents and students received before 3:00 p.m. must be addressed within the same day.
Complete all other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Teachers will make one phone call to each student/family weekly during their designated times to check on student progress.
Distance Learning instruction will be provided in paper form that would allow students an average of approximately two hours of work per day, grades PK-1 and three hours of work per day for Grade 2.
Teachers will provide online learning resource options to students as an extension of learning.
Teachers will make one phone call/email/contact through Google Classroom or Class Dojo to each student/family weekly during their designated times to check on student progress.
Teachers-lessons provided through Google classrooms and made available in paper form to those students who do not have access to the internet. Instruction is expected to set students up for approximately 2.5 hours of work per day.
Materials to complete assignments should be limited to general school supplies.
Communication with students should be through district email, Skyward or Google Classroom.

If teachers are unable to be available online or during their scheduled campus day, they are expected to document the absence in Ready-Sub. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
In the event that staff members are unable to complete their assigned duties due to an extended illness or emergency, they should reach out to Human Resources and the campus Principal as soon as possible to notify them. This will also be noted in Ready-Sub.
