It is expected that students will complete assignments for ALL classes during this distance-learning experience in order to meet the requirement of instruction.
Students will be held accountable for work during this time; content addressed during distance-learning is applied to unit competencies upon returning to regular schedule.
Students in Pre K through 2nd grade should refer to their packets for distance learning work.
Students in Grades 3 - 12 are expected to log in daily to view assignments and complete them by established due dates.
Students in Grades 3 - 12 may pick up a paper packet from their campus if internet access is not available.
All students (and/or parents depending on the grade level) should contact the teacher via email with questions or concerns regarding assignments. Teachers should remain available throughout the school day.

Your password is your first and last initials and Student lunch ID#. example: js120230
If you need assistance with your password, please contact your teacher. The password can be reset by the Tech Department.

Students will click the + then select Join class Type the class code > JOIN

You are responsible for the care of your device. Handle with care.
Charge the device every night on a flat surface.
Do NOT place any heavy objects on the device.
Insert cords and cable very carefully; they are fragile.
Carry the device closed with two hands.
Be gentle with the screen. They are very fragile and easily damaged. They can be cleaned with a soft dry microfiber cloth.
Use it wisely. Keep food, drinks and sticky fingers away from the device.
Respect those around you. Use headphones or turn it down.
Be patient. Programs may take time to open.
Use kind words when collaborating with others online.
Keep your information confidential. Do not share personal information online.
Restart the unit if experiencing problems.
If your device needs technical assistance then contact your teacher.
These devices are tools for educational purposes ONLY. They can be shared with a sibling for their school assignments.
Take PRIDE in protecting your device (do not add stickers or anything permanent).

Remember the device belongs to ACISD and is an instructional material checked out to the student. The student and their parent/guardians are responsible to keep the unit safe and secure from loss and/or damage.
