All scholars and employees must wear masks while on school grounds, except when eating and drinking.

Scholars and staff should practice frequent handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol before and after eating or distributing food.

Clean high-touch surfaces and objects as much as possible. Surfaces that come in contact with food should be washed, rinsed, and sanitized before and after meals.

If you are not eating, continue to wear your mask especially when social distancing is difficult to maintain (e.g., standing in line to discard food).

Employees should wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after removing their gloves or after handling used or dirty food service items.

During unmasked lunch consumption, scholars will be provided partition shields at each seat (beginning Aug. 30).

Cafeterias are also outfitted with additional air purification devices.

Acero requires assigned seating for elementary school lunch to help facilitate contact tracing, if needed, and to create routine and ease during mealtime.

Breakfast consumption will be in the classroom.
