Student Aid General Information
The FAFSA means FREE Application for Financial Aid, if you go to a site that asks for money, it is a scam, always look for a site that end in .gov not .com or .org or .net You must fill out the online application every October, the earlier you fill it out, the more money is possible to receive. The first step is student and parents creating a username and password, this log in stands for an electronic signature. You will need to supply your social security numbers, using the following government secure sites will keep these numbers safe.

2 Steps to APPLYING
Step #1-Student and Parent must obtain an FSA ID (This is how you will sign your documents online, it has replaced the old pin # system) click here
Step #2-On or after Oct. 1, 2022 (using your and your parents 2021 tax returns information) Fill out the Click here
Your application is the 2023-2024 FASFA application
DON'T FORGET TO CREATE A SAVE KEY, this allows for data to be saved so the application does not have to be completed on the first attempt.
