Turnitin is a tool housed within the Canvas platform designed to discourage and prevent plagiarism. The student experience for submitting work will stay the same. However, I would like to point out that the student will receive a copy of their similarity report.
The teacher can decide if the student sees this report immediately upon submission or after the assignment is graded. This is reviewed in detail in the “how to create an assignment” help page below.
