We began our workshops in August 2019. However, after only 7 months, the world came to a standstill due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although, we managed to organize a few workshops during the pandemic, things were tough both for the instructors and the participants. We reopened the workshops full fledged in 2022-2023. The number of students have steadily increased since then. Each year, we introduce a few new workshops along with the older ones.
More details about workshops conducted between 2019-2024 can be found here and here.
We thank Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) for providing excellent background video resources as per the workshop content to all the participants.
Molecular biology workshops require expertise, costly chemicals and expensive machines. The expenditures incurred on these workshops are partly offset by generous CSR grants from Praj Industries Ltd and K.K. Nag Pvt Ltd. The rest of the cost is recovered as registration fees from the participants.
In the past, we have been supported by Eppendorf India Pvt Ltd, Himedia Pvt Ltd and Bartleby Technologies Pvt Ltd.
