The "Pulse of Life!" activity allows students to observe heart pulses using clay or wheat dough and a toothpick. By pressing the dough with a toothpick attached onto the wrist’s pulse point, the toothpick vibrates with each heartbeat. This simple setup enables students to visualize and measure heart pulse rates, connecting them with basic cardiovascular concepts.
Learning Objective:
To understand and measure heart pulse rate, providing insight into how heartbeats can be felt externally and introducing cardiovascular health.
