The Pivot Joint model illustrates how this joint type enables rotational movement. Using two pipes arranged to allow one to rotate freely over the other, the model replicates the pivot joints in the body, such as in the neck (allowing head rotation) and in the forearm (enabling the radius to rotate over the ulna for hand rotation).
