Current fees for the online workshop: ₹ 4130.

NOTE:

How to apply

Step 1: Pay the fees (INR 4130) under the correct category ("Biostats Workshop") on the SB Collect Page. See the instructions in the next section (Paying the fees on SB Collect) for more information about fee payment. Save the payment receipt and the DU number.

Step 2: Fill the registration form and upload the payment receipt through the same form. Note that to access the form, you will have to be logged into a gmail account. This is a requirement from Google for all forms where a file is to be uploaded. If you pay but do not fill the registration form, we have no way of knowing that you have paid the fees. We cannot issue refunds in such cases.

Step 3: You will receive an acknowledgement (via email) of your filling the form. All further correspondence will be addressed to the email address used on the form. So please be very careful in filling your email ID in Step 2. Your registration is NOT yet confirmed. Registration to the course is strictly on a first-come-first-served basis. We reserve the right to limit the number of participants in a workshop due to operational reasons.

Step 4: Upon verification of the payment details, a final registration confirmation email will be sent to you. Your seat is confirmed only AFTER you receive this registration confirmation email. This process might take up to 4 days after you fill the form. If you have not heard from us 4 days after you have filled the registration form, then you must write to biostats@acads.iiserpune.ac.in immediately, attaching your payment receipt in the email. Again, without you writing to us, we cannot sort any issues that might have arisen.

NOTE: Your application is not complete until the first two steps mentioned above have happened.Your registration is not complete until all the four steps mentioned above have happened.

Important

Paying the fees on SB Collect

Successful Payments

Click here and here to see images of a receipt where the transaction is successful. Note that the transaction charge will vary based on your mode of payment. The precise format of the receipt can also depend on the mode of payment.

You will also be able to see the two notifications on the receipt of a successful transaction:

Notification 1: THIS IS A COMPUTER -GENERATED RECEIPT AND DOES NOT REQUIRE SIGNATURE

Notification 2 PLEASE UPLOAD A COPY OF THIS RECEIPT THROUGH THE FORM

Failed Payments

Sometimes, the payment does not go through, even if SBI shows you a reference number. In those cases, the following message (or some variant thereof) is flashed on the receipt, typically, in deep red font:

"Transaction status is pending. If your account is debited, please verify the status of your transaction under 'Payment History' after one hour."

Click here to see the typical image of a receipt where payment has failed. Note that the two notifications shown above will also not be visible on such a receipt.

In these cases, almost without fail, the payment does not go through. Therefore, you are advised to wait for an hour and then pay the fees again through the SBI Collect portal.

In the extremely rare case (has never happened in the last several years!) that your receipt is showing a failed transaction and yet your account has been debited, we advise you to wait for 2 business days. There is a high probability that the payment will be reversed to your account. In case it does not, please drop an email to biostats@acads.iiserpune.ac.in, attaching your "failed transaction" receipt containing the DU number AND a screenshot of your account statement showing that the payment has been debited. In that case, we are going to take up the issue with the bank.

In any case, please do not upload a receipt showing "failed transaction" through the form as we are not going to accept it.
