Welcome to Middle School!

My name is Mrs. Victoria Ramdeen. This is my sixth year teaching and my fifth year at AcadeMir Charter School Preparatory. I graduated from The Union Institute and University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and General Science. This year I will be teaching 6th grade Comprehensive 1, 7th grade Comprehensive 2 and Physical Science, and 8th grade Biology. I am an advocate of hands-on, inquiry-based learning. I love getting my students involves in a variety of community service, problem-solving, and critical thinking with the use of technology-infused activities that provide students with opportunities to use their strengths to help others in a life. I am a mother of two wonderful children. Some of my hobbies are traveling, cooking, spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors and enjoying a good movie. I am so excited to be teaching your child.
