Dear Parents,

After "Day 17", the science lessons are going to become weekly activities to do until the end of the school year. This is to help have less of a daily workload from French, Math, and English, but still have some fun science activities to do at while at home.

Talk about what you notice and wonder
Add in ways your family thinks about these observations
Encourage children to draw what they see, or feel free to write in their thinking if they cannot

Earth Day/Jour de la Terre

Work with your family to sort items in the trash and/or recycling containers into categories based upon their properties. Are they made from metal, plastic, wood?

Draw pictures and/or write the names of what you found next to the material listed. All you need to do is use a blank piece of paper and label sections for each matieral/what it's made out of:
- - - wood/paper/cardboard packaging (papier/emballages et briques en carton)
    - plastic (plastique)
    - metal/metal packaging(emballages en métal)
