John Philip Sousa Award

The John Philip Sousa Band Award honors a graduating band senior, recognizing superior musicianship, dedication, and leadership within the band program. It is often viewed as the highest honor a band member can receive. Taylor Newell is a percussionist and will be attending NC State in the fall. Taylor served as our Drum Major for the Bulldog Marching Band this past season, and was the Percussion Captain in years prior.
