Beginning Teacher Support

Teachers that are in their first, second, and third year of teaching are considered Beginning Teachers (BTs). District-level and school-level support are provided to BTs as part of the Beginning Teacher Support Program. Be sure to check the menu at the top of this site for additional information.

A mentor is assigned to BT1s, BT2s, and BT3s at his/her school.

• BT2 = 2^nd Year Teacher
• BT3 = 3^rd Year Teacher
