This year to focus is on developing the skills necessary to "do science".  

• How to make accurate observations and measurements of the world.

• How to turn an observation about the world into a question that can be investigated.

• How to support a claim they make with evidence and reasoning.

• How to analyze and evaluate data provided as support for a claim being made by someone.
