Crafts and Design is a semester-long elective course intended to develop an appreciation for craft forms to create both 2D and 3D functional and decorative artworks. Students develop fine motor skills, craftsmanship, and experience the cyclical design process. Topics may include historical craft traditions, sustainable design, and craftivism.
