The AMS Jazz combos are smaller jazz groups that consist of a rhythm section and a few horn players. The Jazz Combo allows student musicians the opportunity to explore jazz composition, arranging, and improvisation in a more creative and interactive way than what is possible in a larger Big Band jazz ensemble.
