Students enrolled in RAC 7 will meet twice a week to complete content across various texts that encourage the development of critical- thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication Skills. Students will explore both Fiction and Non-Fiction Tests to help develop reading strategies to strengthen comprehension and enhance their learning experience. Throughout the course of the year, students will utilize classroom tools such as Study Island and Google classrooms.

Over the course of the year we will complete a minimum of 2 novels, Zach's Lie and Tangerine and a Non- Fiction Unit, which will focus on the Holocaust. Through these, and other texts, we will develop comprehension skills and challenge ourselves to seek deeper meaning.
