Hi my name is Luke Franklin! This will be my 4th year participating in AbingTHON and I am glad to have the opportunity of being chosen to be the overall of the communications committee alongside the other communications overall Carly Hughes. I plan on trying to get more students of Abington to raise more money for AbingTHON and promoting more people to participate in AbingTHON fundraisers and events so we can raise more money then we did last year!!!

Adelyn Shore
Hi, my name is Adelyn Shore, and I am so so lucky to be AbingTHON's fundraising overall this year alongside Nate!! With experience on this committee as a captain and chair, I am dedicated to planning profitable fundraisers and reaching our $$ goal this year. I initially got involved in AbingTHON to see the amazing impact that the club has on children and families battling pediatric cancer, and I've been amazed by our efforts every year since. Aside from this club, I am co-president of the Female Empowerment club, on the executive board of BuildOn, and apart of the varsity field hockey team. I can't wait to work with my fellow overalls to make AbingTHON 2026 the best one yet!

Brooke Dougherty
Hi, my name is Brooke Dougherty! I am so excited to be the overall for hospitality this year, and I can’t wait to see all that AbingTHON will accomplish this year!! I have been apart of AbingTHON for all 4 years of high school, and I hope we can reach all our goals because the best part of this club is seeing the impact it makes on such a great cause. Alongside AbingTHON, I am the senior class council treasurer and apart of the schools field hockey team. Our team this year is great and I’m looking forward to working with everyone!!

Lana Brown
Hi everyone, my name is Lana Brown, and I am one of the co-overalls on the Operations committee for AbingTHON this year! I am super excited to work alongside my fellow overalls and our captains and chairs to raise as much money we can for the kids and make this year the best one yet! Alongside AbingTHON, I am student council president, vice president of the Female Empowerment Club, and on Abington’s field hockey team. I initially got involved with AbingTHON in my freshman year because I was super excited to be a part of such an amazing organization that supports kids with pediatric cancer so much. My love for this organization has grown so much over the years and I am so lucky and excited to see what this year brings, especially as one of the overalls!

Ella Cwiklinski
Hi, my name is Ella Cwilinski! I am an AbingTHON overall on the recruitment committee alongside Chase Metzgar. I am grateful for this position and for the positive impacts our operation has in fighting childhood cancer. I am excited to work alongside my fellow overalls to make AbingTHON 2026 wonderful for our community and school. I have been a member of AbingTHON since freshman year, and my love for this organization and has only developed into something bigger after seeing our collective impact. AbingTHON has grown very important to me as it as given me the opportunity to work with so many amazing people in support of children with pediatric cancer. This is the first year recruitment is recognized as a committee and I can’t wait to introduce new people and ideas to the organization and create an inspiring and uplifting experience for everyone.I have no doubt that with such an enthusiastic team that we can make AbingTHON 2026 the greatest year yet!
Chase Metzgar
Hi everyone! My name is Chase Metzgar, and I’m one of the co-overalls on the Recruitment committee for AbingTHON this year. I’ve been involved with AbingTHON since 2015, when my family spoke at the event alongside my brother Shane, who passed away from pediatric cancer. Our foundation, Shane’s Future Days, is honored to be one of the local organizations supported by AbingTHON, which makes this cause incredibly personal and meaningful to me.
In addition to my work with AbingTHON, I fundraise independently to support childhood cancer research and serve as a student ambassador for cc-TDI (Children’s Cancer Therapy Development Institute). Outside of that, I was part of the GAPP exchange program to Germany this summer, I’m a varsity member of both the Abington Boys Soccer and Lacrosse teams, and I play club soccer for the Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals ECNL team.
I’m proud to be part of the Recruitment committee this year and look forward to welcoming more students into this incredible organization!
Lead Chair
Gus Taborn
Hello, my name is Gus Taborn! This will be my 4th year participating in AbingTHON, and I have been blessed to be the very first lead chair of this amazing organization! Words can't describe how excited I am to be working with all the overalls, fellow chairs, and the captains to make this year's AbingTHON the best one it can be. Positivity is key! I started my freshman year as a member, but I was new to the school and didn't know anything, so I tried to participate. In my sophomore year, I started raising money and was able to participate. The following year, I became a captain for Communications & Recruitment, and now, I'll be the lead chair for my senior year. Since then, my commitment and love for this amazing organization have grown rapidly as the years went by.
Outside and along with AbingTHON, I'm very involved with Abington Senior High School as a whole, I'm a communication chair for the Female Empowerment Club of Abington, the editor for Key Club, an Arrive Alive leader for the Red Cross Club, a board member for the Class Council of 2026 and Lead with Love, a leader for Link Crew, and more importantly, involved in the school theatre department for 4 years doing the fall plays and spring musicals.
I'm very grateful to be part of this amazing organization with all these amazing people, and as lead chair, which is a new position, I will work with every committee to get things done, whether it be teaching the dance, welcoming more students, or even helping with scheduling for events, I will try my absolute best to make this AbingTHON outstanding and I'm very looking forward to working with all the amazing people.
