AbingTHON is a non-profit, annual fundraiser consisting of an 8-hour, no-sitting, dance marathon event. The participants are high school students (grades 9-12), who raise a minimum amount in order to participate. Throughout the school year, student captains work diligently to solicit donations and sponsorships from local businesses. Individual participants also fundraise a minimum of $50 for their designated charity. Some of the highlights of AbingtonTHON include family hour, pillo-polo, spikeball and basketball tournaments, live music and much more! Several families have graciously joined our AbingTHON family, and they spend time with us during the event to share their experiences with pediatric cancers. At the end of the evening, student captains reveal the total amount of money fundraised and donated through the course of the entire year.
