Kintyre Schools Pipe Band SSPDT Freestyle Entry 2021

Congratulations to Kintyre Schools Pipe Band who finished 2nd overall in the SSPDT Freestyle Competition at the weekend, being awarded £400 towards furthering music tuition in school. This was an online event involving schools all over the country and is the first time the band have participated. The video includes members of the Pipe Band, Senior Music classes and dancers from the school who are part of the James McCorkindale School of Dance.

BEB Ross Conner - Large 540p.mov2019-20 School Captain Ross Conner spent a couple of months composing, recording and producing - on his own - this waltz as part of his Advanced Higher Music Course. It's fitting that on his last day in school he was able to both finish the production and name the track after a recent Outdoor Education trip he participated on which included climbing Buachaille Etive Beag.
The 2020 multitrack recordings for NATIONAL 5 MUSIC TECHNOLOGY were as varied as we've ever done. Click on the buttons below to listen to the productions. All the recording, editing & mixing was done by the pupils - with many having other Music pupils performing as well!
