'Parental Engagement is recognised in the Scottish National Improvement Framework as one of seven key drivers in achieving excellence and equity in Scottish education. The engagement of parents and families can help raise attainment for all and help to ensure every child has an equal chance of success'. (1) At St Machar Academy, like many Scottish schools, we want to improve both the quality and uptake of our interactions with parents, carers and families. We welcome and encourage feedback from our school community ensuring that, through working together, we support the most positive outcomes for our young people.

Our parental feedback and survey area of our website allows for parents to provide feedback or complete questionnaires on a range of topics. Our general feedback form will be available throughout the academic year with other surveys and questionnaires communicated as and when they become available.
