St Machar Academy School Uniform

St Machar Academy is a uniform school where pupils are expected to wear an item of clothing with the St Machar badge on it.  While this is partially about security and helping us to identify our pupils within our school grounds and buildings  it is more about creating a sense of community  and pride in the school.

Our school uniform also encourages equity, as it prevents expensive competition over who wears what designer brand.  We believe our uniform is smart, practical and cost effective whilst offering choice and comfort to all wearers.

Depending on the item of clothing, school branded items are available in a choice of black, purple and white.  Any non-school branded items such as leggings, trousers, sports joggers and skirts should be plain black.
