Our Vision, Values and Aims

Scotstown school values.pdf

During the 2019 - 2020 session, we revised our Scotstown School's Vision, Values and Aims after consultation with our school community.  We are very pleased with the final results and feel these are relevant to our school. Our goal is to embed these within our school ethos.

We will work with our Vision, Values and Aims in school, supporting understanding and 'living' them.  We would like our pupils, staff and parents to put them into action, including them in our discussions and within the language we use with each other.

(We are grateful to one of our parents for supporting us in creating this super poster!)
Kindness.pdf

We know the power of kindness and the positive impact it has on us when we experience it - that is why it is part of our school vision!   We wanted to continue our focus on kindness after our February assembly and made  a call to our school community to share ideas to encourage and grow kindness!

The question was: ‘How do you practice kindness?’   Examples could include kindness to your child, to each other, to adults, to colleagues, to the environment or to yourself!

Have a look at the great ideas that were shared.
