World Religion: Christianity, 30 marks made up of one 10 mark essay and one 20 mark essay
Morality and Belief: Relationships, 30 marks made up of one 10 mark essay and one 20 mark essay
Religious and Philosophical Questions: Origins, 20 marks made up of one 20 mark essay.

Independence – students are expected to be responsible for catching up work missed and meet all deadlines
Assessment - pupils will be set essays in each section and reviewed. The prelim will also act as an indicator of progression.
Higher pupils sit two exam papers. In paper 1, pupils will be examined in World Religion (Christianity) and Morality (Relationships). This paper will last for 2 hrs 15 minutes. In paper 2, pupils will be examined in Philosophical questioning (Origins), and this will last 45 minutes.
