The New School

As you will be aware, the ASG will be the recipient of a new and improved Hazlehead Academy in the coming years. Building will commence soon, with the intended opening being August 2028. This is a very exciting time for the ASG and the pupils coming through over the next few years.  As part of Hazlehead Academy's increased capacity (to around 1600 pupils), the ASG will also increase in its size, to include the Kingswells catchment. This will make Hazlehead Academy the largest school in Aberdeen. 

The current Primary 5 pupils will be the first pupils to start S1 in the new building. The current Primary 6 and Primary 7 pupils will be in S2 and S3 respectively.
