Before the game's official start, each team was allowed practice runs to figure out how their robot would behave in the set area given to it, and modifications were made to the code, or to the design itself.

Our enormously superb cheerleading team led by Santiago Hernandez, Anjolaoluwa Adedeji and Magnus Davis Widfeldt filled the arena with our passionate voices, encouraging other members of our group to join in and support our drivers.

Special thanks to members from Cults academy who joined in and helped to fill RGU with our sound.

Because of our spectacular performance, working as a team to motivate each other at all times with our cheerleading and assisting our drivers in maintaining absolute domination over other teams in the standings, we achieved first place in qualifying.

This means team Low Voltage officially makes it to the next stage in the championship, London!

Because of the grueling work and countless hours put into the portfolio, robot design, performance, and coding, our magnificent team reaped the rewards of their hard efforts and won the Inspire Award in RGU!

Our extraordinary head builder and designer contributed a very significant amount to the design of the full robot, and built a large part of it. Without his help, the robot wouldn't be so efficient in getting the highest score in the regional competition.

He is an excellent Advanced Higher Physics student who brilliantly used his knowledge of his design in order to calculate the optimal angle of the ramp and put it to use in the competition.

He also showed a great level of determination and resilience just weeks before the competition. He worked on the robot almost every day during lunch and after school, turning an empty husk of a robot into a piece of art.

His extensive knowledge of the design's limits and power gave us an advantage even before testing, and being our driver, resulted in a display of his huge talent in precision and speed for obtaining points and rushing for the win.

Our committed head of Portfolio and builder was an asset in the fantastic design of the award winning final piece. He was the first to understand all aspects of what our team did through fundraising, social media, etc.

Due to his great understanding he, along with others, managed to exceptionally fit all of our progress into just 15 detailed pages, which made our folio one of the best in the competition.

Thomas, along with others, talked to judges multiple times throughout the event to explain all aspects of our teamwork and group aspirations.

His experience gained from last year in this competition made him the perfect teacher for the new S5's joining the crew. He is a great representation of what FTC preaches in terms of team continuity and the inspiration of future competitors.
