Working on the Robot at the RGU scrimmage
Our engineering group is a team of 19 people focused on the design, operation, construction and use of robots. We strive to do the best we can, and treat every mistake as an opportunity to learn. A group of S5s are lead by the S6s that had been working on this project since last year, meaning they already have experience to teach the rest of us the road to genius.
At the club we plan, design and build a robot in preparation for the FIRST®First tech challenge where we compete in a series of competitions, and have the chance to go to London to compete in the finale! This of course is the national competition but winning the national competition will get us qualified for the international competition which may be held in the Netherlands.
