Learning Leaflets
Learning Leaflets
Every class is issued a Learning Leaflet via Seesaw or Google Classroom at the beginning of each term ( August/January/ April). This gives an outline of the contexts which will be taught in each curricular area. This is a starting point for parents supporting learning at home.
Please use the following links to locate appropriate resources to support learners which link to your Learning Leaflet. Also note your child will still have access to Google Classroom and therefore their homework every Monday. We have also added some choice grids for various subject areas at the bottom of this page which may also be useful.
Our 'Fiction Reading' pages ( see menu) provide a list of suitable books for our fluent readers and appropriate task maps. These can be used with any book your child is reading. Dyslexia Friendly Books are recommended also. Audio books are something we highly recommend for more reluctant readers to enhance vocabulary and extends their exposure to different genres.

Spelling will be provided via Google Classroom. Your class teacher will send your child's spelling words directly in Google Classroom. The 'Spelling Tasks' page provides a range of activities your child can do daily with their spelling words.
