There are many wonderful resources to be found online.
Listed in these pages are some of the ones we recommend to practise key skills in Literacy and Numeracy (click on the tab at the top of this section to access the section you wish to look at, then use the drop down arrow to navigate to exactly where you want to be). Your child's teacher may send other links home to use either through homework jotters or Google Classroom links for Literacy, Numeracy or other curricular areas.
It is perfectly acceptable to 'Google' for resources yourself, but we recommend that you ensure they are aimed at Curriculum for Excellence and not the English or other school curricula, as while there may be cross overs in content, they are not geared to support the curriculum that we are teaching.
Full of support, guidance and useful tips. Kept up to date with Covid-19 information.
In these uncertain times, parents, carers and families are under a lot of pressure, especially in supporting children to continue to learn. No-one expects parents and carers to take the place of teachers.
These newsletters have ideas, hints and tips for parents and carers, including activities that children can do on their own at home or families can do together.
These activities are intended to complement the activities provided by your school and help your child have a broad range of learning experiences during the school closures.
