Honored to visit the Center of Excellence for Agri-food System and Nutrition at Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique. I had the opportunity to present our multidisciplinary research on bee products as functional ingredients—exploring their potential in enhancing the nutritional and therapeutic value of food and beverages.
I also delivered a seminar titled “Beyond Conventional Food Preservation”, highlighting emerging technologies like High Pressure Processing (HPP) and Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) and their transformative role in food safety and quality.
Grateful for Prof. Lucas and the engaging exchange and the potential for future collaboration in advancing agri-food innovation across Africa.
