My name is Jere Kubuske. This is my 21st year of in education. I began my current role at North in the summer of 2023. Prior to coming to Appleton North, I served as Principal of Holy Family Catholic School, a PK-8 school in Green Bay, WI. In addition, I have served as a high school science teacher, school leader, and coach at Green Bay East High School (WI), Cathedral High School (IN), Ben Davis Ninth Grade Center (IN) and Tuscarawas Valley High School (OH). I also had the opportunity to Coach Football at Bemidji State University as well.
I earned my my undergraduate degree in Adolescent/ Young Adult Education at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. I earned my first Master’s degree in Sport Studies from Bemidji State University, then continued my education at the University of Indianapolis earning a graduate degree in Educational Leadership.
I have been very involved in athletics, school activities, and coaching in my career. As a part of the Cathedral Irish varsity football I coached staff working with Outside Linebackers. I have also worked with the Ben Davis Giants (Offensive Backs), Bemidji State Beavers (Defensive Backs), and Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (WRs/DBs). I have been blessed to be a part of 4 Indiana State Championships, 3 Conference Champions, 9-post seasons (in Ohio you must earn a spot in the playoffs), and the defeat of a top 10 Nationally Ranked NCAA Division II team. I have coached two NCAA Div. II All-Americans, All-State athletes, and several district/conference award winners. I have also coached Wrestling and Baseball at the High School level. In addition I have also been a part of school theater on 6 separate occasions; 2 as a student and 4 times as an educator!
In my personal life, I am married to Sara Kubuske who is the Head Softball Coach at UW-Green Bay. Together we have 3 amazing, and very active kids, and two also very active dogs!
