Tech Integration at AAS is done on an as needed basis. This allows you to book the amount of help that you need, when you need it, and where you need it.
The first step of Tech Integration is Planning.
Tech Integrationist will be happy to come to either a grade level or an individual teacher's planning session.
At this session it is not necessary for the teacher/team to already have ideas. You or your team may be in the planning stage and need the integrationists to come so that they can hear what is being planned and develop ideas.
Also, you or your team may have an idea and want to talk to an integrationist to develop it fully.
After this session, your team may be ready to book integration sessions, or you and/or the integrationists may need more time to test/plan.
You may also just need to meet for planning a lesson or personal training, but not actually need to book an integrator for running a lesson.
Expectations for what you as a teacher will be responsible for during a booked integration lesson.
If the lesson is something that you are completely new to, you may expect to participate in the lesson as a student would in order to become more familiar with the tech.
If the lesson is something that you are more familiar with then, you can expect to co-teach the lesson with the integrationist.
If the lesson is something that you are very familiar with then, you can have a go at running the lesson and have an integrationist come in to act as tech support, just in case they are needed.
*** In all of these cases you will be responsible for the content of the integration.
*** Even if you are not co-teaching you may be asked to contribute your expectations to a lesson. (ie. You expect correct capitalization and punctuation in any writing element.)
It is easier to book through the web browser version of Outlook than the desktop application version. Here is the link: https://owa.aas.ru/owa/
Please put your class name at the beginning of the Calendar event Title it helps us see where to go.
