PARENTS: Please look at the "For Families" page to access the district statement explaining math support for your student.
Math Support utilizes two primary programs:
- DreamBox - A web-based math program catered to a students current math understanding. 60 minutes each week is REQUIRED, with 90 minutes being the preferred time usage.
- Delta Math- Students are assessed using a computer based program, and the teacher provides individualized instruction (primarily paper based lessons) based on the reports generated. 90-120 minutes of individual and small group lessons are planned for each week.
There are 250 minutes of class each week. With these two programs utilizing up to 210 minutes at a maximum, there should be approximately 40 minutes throughout the week for students to correct, or work on current math work with teacher support.

- Through your school Gmail account you already have a Khan Academy account. You can either login using Clever, or if you go to www.khanacademy.org you can enter your school email and password. Under the Coaches tab, you can add our class by entering the code 6CE9A9ZK in the section where it says to add a coach. You should see my name pop up.
Discovery Education is a free resource for students that includes tons of videos and other resources (games, flash cards, worksheets, etc.) in all subject areas. Maths Mansion is a set of videos on Discovery Education specifically geared towards all areas of math. Log in to your Clever account and click on Discovery Education to log in. Type the subject you need more information for in your search bar, or I have added some resources as assignments so that they will quickly pop up at the top of the main page.
The Grade 8 Math Tutorial is a series of lessons working on concepts students are learning this year. This is not a review of previously learned concepts, however students are able to utilize this source for assistance with topics they are currently working on in class. It is FREE but you do need to register/login. Use your school email.
Khan Academy:
- I have organized lessons on Khan Academy that supplement the Delta Math porgram and offer videos of the topics students are reviewing.
- Students have access to Khan Academy, and my class specifically, automatically when they log in to their Clever Account (Just like they do for DreamBox). Once logged in to Clever, students will click the Khan Academy link/button.
- If that does not work, students may add themselves to the class using the code: 6CE9A9ZK
