SUPPLIES:

Note: No backpacks will be allowed in the classroom. Each student has a locker that they are expected to store their supplies in. Students may have a drawstring bag (please note that many of these are NOT very durable) to carry their Chromebook, and supplies to each class- it will not fit or carry ALL books! Some students have preferred a Zipper Binder- be aware that the Chromebook will not fit in the tablet pocket of some of those binders; simple can often work better. A zippered (envelope style) pencil case is often helpful to have for all classes.

Math Class Supplies:

• Open Mind and Willingness to Embrace the Positive

• Composition Notebook

• 2 Pocket Folder

• Pencils

Supplies that may be helpful, but not required (there is a class supply of these in the room for student use):

• Colored pencils

• Highlighters

• Scissors

• Glue sticks/ tape

• Calculator--> Please NOTE: ALL STUDENTS have access to the TI-84 Graphing calculator on their Chromebook. We have a small supply of these calculators available for student use in the classroom as well. IT IS NOT EXPECTED THAT STUDENTS PURCHASE A GRAPHING CALCULATOR. The TI-83 and TI-84 graphing calculators will be the ones I will teach using, as these are embedded into the students Chromebook. However, I have noticed that some students like to have a basic functions or fraction calculator to double check their work (as cell phones will NOT be allowed).
