Tailings Failure Event 2014 -- The Mt. Polley event from 8/4/2014 is reviewed with Landsat data from before, and after - using TIRI-1 Processing.

#Dump_failure ('05) - #Slope_failures  ('09 / '19). The Carlin operations site, or Gold Quarry mine has experienced three major events since 2005. Slope Monitoring began there in 2007, and continues with additional units and terrestrial instrumentation working together.

#QUICK_Clay -  
(WIKIPEDIA -  The 2020 Gjerdrum landslide was a quick clay landslide that occurred in the early hours of 30 December 2020 at Ask village, the administrative centre of Gjerdrum, Norway. It spanned a flow off area of 300 by 700 meters (980 by 2,300 feet) and additionally affected 9 hectares (22 acres) by debris flow. Several buildings were destroyed, most of them houses and apartment buildings. As of 22 March 2021, ten people had been confirmed killed by the landslide.[1]  - See area at lower-left 2019-2020.
