We were like that once. Then we discovered Alcoholics Anonymous. Hundreds of us across Bedfordshire, tens of thousands in the UK and millions around the world now live happy, sober lives thanks to the AA programme.
AA is freely available to anyone who wants to stop drinking. That's right, it costs nothing except what you may choose to put in the collection pot when you're at a meeting.
Want to know more? Have a look at our newcomer resources page. Or call our local helpline on 01438 747475.
And there's a list of South Bedfordshire meetings on our local meetings page. Just turn up at one and you're guaranteed to be made welcome.
Follow links in our menu for all kinds of information about AA and how our members got sober and stayed sober by following the simple, 12 Step AA programme.

If you're already a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, there's plenty here for you too. As this site grows, we'll post information about AA related events you can get involved in. In keeping with AA's primary purpose, these pages are dedicated to carrying the Alcoholics Anonymous message to anyone who wants it.
To help us keep in regular touch with members, South Beds Intergroup has set up an email list for local AAs. Please tap/click the button to sign up so you stay abreast with latest news.
