What is a GSR?

A bit of AA jargon here... GSR stands for General Service Representative. Most groups appoint a GSR who keeps the Intergroup (a kind of area committee) updated on what's happening in that particular group. All clear? No? Don't worry! The primary purpose of Alcoholics Anonymous is to carry the AA message to the still suffering alcoholic. All this admin' stuff comes a lot later.
