Discovery Education is a digital learning platform that brings real-world content into the classroom and at home. It offers engaging videos, interactive activities, virtual field trips, and up-to-date resources across all subject areas.
Look for the Instructional Technology folder.
Select the image to the right to take a tour of the Student Dashboard in Discovery Education.
To search for resources on a topic, select the search box at the top of the screen.
To narrow down results, use the filters at the top of page.
To save a resource, select the heart to add it to favorites or save to my content. Favorites will be saved it in a large list; My Content allows you to create folders for different topics.

Open the menu in the upper right hand corner. Under Tools, select Studio
To begin a new project, click Let’s Create and then choose between a board or slideshow.
Board: A multi-page project where pages can be as long as they want and include a scroll bar.
Slideshow: A multi-slide project where slides are a fixed size and designed for presentations.
Name your project:
By default, your project will be named the time it was created. Edit the name and description through the dropdown at the top of the screen.
Add colors & themes:
Within Studio, there are two options for customizing your project through themes, colors, and backgrounds. Access Customization options from the palette icon on the left side of the screen.
Add content:
Select the + to add content to your board. Import Discovery Education digital resources using Search or through your QuickList. You can upload from your device, including from camera rolls on tablets and phones. In addition to media, you can add text, resources, and buttons.
3. Knowledge Constructor
Students curate (select and evaluate) a variety of digital resources to constrict knowledge, produce creative artifacts to make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.
6. Creative Communicator
Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate for their goals.
