This year, all students will make course selections for their 2021-22 classes online. Teachers have recommended students for their core classes, which students will be able to see when they make their selections in Parent Portal. At North County High School, we encourage all students to take a rigorous and engaging course load and have a comprehensive offering of electives to support ALL interests!

Passion courses are 9-week long classes that provide students an exciting way to explore a variety of topics. When making their course selections, students must select two passion courses (one per MP)
NCHS offers a wide array of electives - both half-year and year-long - in all departments that cater to the various interests of our students. Click here for a comprehensive list of all available elective courses.
Advanced Placement classes are year-long, college level classes taken in high school. Each course culminates with an exam, which provides students the opportunity to earn college credits. Learn more about our AP offerings!
