We are now in the peak of competition season! The Lindale Hyper Lynx Robotics Tournament had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather but that didn't stop team 45908E from coming in first place is both the Teamwork Competition and the Skills Challenge! They also won the Amaze Award from the judges. Teams 45908A and 45908D also made the finals. Team 45908H won the Build Award from the judges! It was a great showing for the Hyper Lynx Robotics Club at their home tournament!
The day belonged to Team 45908E as they took first in both the Skills and Teamwork Challenges at the Lindale Hyper Lynx Robotics Tournament!
Team 45908H (and Hyper) show their Build Award.
The Build Award is presented to a team that has built a well-crafted and constructed robot. Key criteria:
• Robot construction is of high quality; robust, clean, and effective use of materials
• Robot efficiently uses mechanical and electrical components
• Robot is designed with a clear dedication to safety and attention to detail
• Robot demonstrates reliability on the field and holds up under competition conditions
• Students understand and explain how they worked together to develop their robot
Former Lindale Hyper Lynx Robotics students (and current high school robotics competitors) returned to Lindale to be the referees for the tournament. Every referee in attendance has competed at the VEX IQ World Tournament in Texas in the past.
