MoBot

In 2023, Team 45908A dedicated their robot to former Lindale student, Mo Gaba.  Mo was known for his incredibly positive attitude, even though he battled cancer multiple times in his life.  He was always able to lift the spirits of those around him and had an infectious laugh that brightened any room.

Mo was the first person in the history of the NFL to read a draft card written in Braille.  That card now resides at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  The Baltimore Ravens dedicated their endzone to Mo by changing the color of the MO in Baltimore (see picture below).  Mo is a member of the Hall of Fame for both the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.  ESPN produced a 360 video chronicling the life of the baseball and football Superfan The Gift of Gaba.

Mo Gaba's legacy lives on at Lindale Middle School.  Team 45908A thought of no better way to honor Mo than to name their robot after him.  The license plate with the robot name was created in Orioles orange and Ravens purple.
