Our mascot Hyper, was the hit of the tournament. He was very popular with the crowd, the judges and the other teams!
Team 45908A was the recipient of the Create Award! The Create Award is presented to the team whose robot design incorporates a creative engineering solution to the design challenges of the season’s game. Key criteria:
Robot has a well-crafted, unique design solution, which demonstrates creative thinking
Team has demonstrated a highly creative design process and methodology
Team has committed to ambitious and creative approaches to solving the game challenge

Now we wait to see if we qualified for an invitation to the World Tournament in Dallas, Texas. There are several ways to qualify. We will be notified by the REC Foundation if we make it to Worlds. If so, we will start fine tuning our robots for the next level of competition. If not, we will celebrate this year's successes and start preparing for next year.
The Hyper Lynx Robotics Program has come a long way in a very short time. These students have demonstrated hard work and dedication going well beyond the maturity of a middle school student. Everyone at Lindale Middle School is proud of what they accomplished this year! The future is really bright for these students!
