Absence Form

A student's parent/guardian MUST complete a Bates Drama Club absence notification form if the student will miss rehearsal. 

If the student was also absent from school, this notification form is required in addition to the absence note required by Bates/AACPS. The Bates main office cannot sift through all the school absence notes for the day, identify those who are drama club members, check our rehearsal call sheet to figure out if any students have been called to a rehearsal, and notify the creative team.

It is the student's and parent's/guardian's responsibility to notify the creative team of all absences by filling out this drama club form so we can change plans accordingly if possible.


Cast & Crew Permission Slip for Bates Student Performance, 2/15/24

This performance is confirmed. We must have a completed permission slip for every cast and crew member to be able to perform for Bates students at Studio 39 on February 15, 2024 during the school day. Bates Drama Club will provide cast & crew with bus transportation between Bates and Studio 39. Cast & crew must bring a bag lunch. Students should remember to speak with their teachers to alert them of their absence for this field trip.

Student Participation Contract

Prospective cast and tech crew should read through the participation contract before auditions or interviews. No student may accept or decline this contract unless offered a role or job. Click the blue button below to open the contract.

Every student offered a role in the cast or a position on tech crew must accept or decline the offer online as described below. 

Cast Offers
To accept or decline a cast offer, click the blue button below, read the entire student participation contract, then click the appropriate link on the last page of the contract and complete the form by 7pm, Monday, October 23, 2023.

Crew Offers
To accept or decline a tech crew offer, click the blue button below, read the entire student participation contract, then click the appropriate link on the last page of the contract and complete the form. Ms. Peregrina will set the deadline based on the job she offered you. 

No Internet Access at Home?
Those students who do not have internet access at home may arrange a help session at school to accept or decline offers. Cast should email Mr. Egna at megna@aacps.org and tech crew should email Ms. Peregrina at mperegrina@aacps.org.
