- Make a few notes about the movement of molecules in each state of matter. Pick a state to code Cue to impersonate.
- Design a code to make Cue move like a molecule in that state of matter. Hint: implement loops or events in the program to keep Cue moving.
- Have teammates guess the state of matter.
Option: Have more than one Cue? Run the code on multiple Cue robots at once so they all behave like the molecules.
Extension: What if Cue were an ice cube placed in a pan on the stove? Can you create one continuous code to show how the molecule movement would change as heat is applied to the pan?
