Have you ever wondered if flamingos have relatives? Well, the long-legged Ciconiiformes are the flamingo’s closest relatives because they look alike a lot.  Flamingos are pink and they get their color from the food they eat.  Flamingos can lose their color while raising their babies. Baby flamingos are white, with soft, downy feathers and a straight bill. There are 6 different species of flamingos.  Exciting right?
