1. Explain what a horoscope is and look at some key vocabulary - horoscope, astrologist, star sign...
2. Choose one student to come to the front of the class and another to ask him for his horoscope:
- When's your birthday?
- The 20th of April.
- Ah, so you're an Aries! Your horoscope is...
2. Each person finds their own horoscope based on their brithday.
3. They read it and highlight any words they don't understand.
4. We write a list of the new vocabulary on the board and they copy.
5. In a different colour, students highlight all uses of "will" and "are going to". We talk about the differences between them.
6. In pairs, students choose a different star sign and write the answers to three questions:
- What have been the problems recently?
- What is different this week?
- What advice does the astrologist give?
