A little about us:

Karen- I have lived in Warren for over 30 years with my husband Michael, my son Sam, who is almost 24 and home for the summer but headed to Portland, Maine this fall, my daughter Sarah, who will be a junior at the University of Connecticut and our dog Tilly. I love to play tennis, read, walk, and hang out in my garden. This summer, I was lucky enough to spend time on Lake Champlain, kayaking, watching sunsets, eating good food, visiting family in New York City, Rhode Island, and Plum Island, Ma. I am about to begin my 29th year teaching (Whoa!). I spent seven years teaching 3rd and 4th graders in Brookfield then came here to Moretown, where I taught 5th and 6th graders, 3rd and 4th graders, and now, 1st and 2nd graders.

Pam- I live in Moretown with my husband Hugh and our two teenage daughters- Emily, who will be a sophomore at the University of Vermont, and Erica, who is entering her senior year at Harwood. When I am not busy teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, reading and being outside. My summer adventures included traveling out west with Erica to look at colleges and camping and hiking in Yellowstone. I also spent time at my sister’s camp on Woodbury Lake and returned to mountain biking after knee surgery last fall. I am excited to be starting my 23rd year of teaching at Moretown. I have been lucky enough to teach preschool, Kindergarten and first and second grades.
